Malaria is a disease caused by the Plasmodium parasite (which is a protozoan). These include P. falciparum, P. vivax, P. ovale, and P. malariae. The female Anopheles mosquito transmits the parasite since it feeds on the animal blood for the nourishment of its eggs.  The parasites destroy the red blood cells in the blood.

Symptoms of the disease include; excessive sweating, fever, headaches, vomiting, shivering, occasional seizures. In severe cases, symptoms will include impaired consciousness,  prostration, convulsions, and clinical jaundice.

She showed the value of initiative. Initiative is acting on your own to add value to your work without the request or push from your superintendent (or in this case, the teacher). Sarah makes the extra effort to do her own research into the project. This is rather than asking for mere answers
