An irregularly irregular pulse is a pulse in which the heart beats are spaced very irregularly with no fixed or discernable pattern. When this pulse is confirmed using electrocardiography (ECG), it shows 'saw tooth' pattern, and irregularly irregular normal QRS complexes.
