List the 11 organ systems of the body briefly describe the function of each

They are the following: (1) Integumentary. (2) Muscular (3) Skeletal (4) Nervous (5) circulatory (6) lymphatic (7) respiratory (8) endocrine (9) urinary/excretory, (10) reproductive (11) digestive.
  Integumentary: It regulates body temperature; it also protects the body from the outside world
  Muscular: The muscular organ system is chiefly involved in locomotion.
  Skeletal: Supports the bones and muscles. It is also involved in blood cell production
  Nervous: It coordinates activities of the muscles and organs by maintaining communication in each parts.
  Circulatory: It helps in the transport of nutrients, and waste product from parts where they are needed to final destination.
  Lymph: It transports lymphs, an infection fighting white blood cells.       
Respiratory: It provides the tissue with oxygen and expels Carbon dioxide . Endocrine: It produces and secretes hormones which regulates body temperature, sexual development and metabolism.
 Urinary/excretory: eliminates urine, feaces and other waste matter excreted by the kidney.
  Reproductive: It produces male and female sex cells ensures the development of offspring.
 Digestive: It digest the food taken into the intestines.

The speed of  sound:   sound travels  at different speeds depending on what it istraveling through. of the three mediums (gas, liquid, and solid)  sound waves travel the slowest through  gases, faster  through  liquids, and fastest  through  solids.
