Describe the adp molecule and its function within a cell

ATP is the energy of a cell, and it's recycled all the time. ATP means Adenosine Triphosphate. what happens is mitochondria take the ADP and phosphate and combine them back together during respiration by taking the energy from sugar to make ATP again to transfer energy again!
