If a trait that is normally recessive, like blue eyes, occurs in an animal, is that trait dominant in that specific animal's phenotype? assuming that animal mates with an animal carrying the traits for both blue and brown eyes, are the offspring of that pairing more likely to have blue eyes than brown?
