How are coral reefs affected by acidification

If you've ever seen the Great Barrier leaf, nowadays, you'd be in shock.
The colors are drained from it, and it now looks like white pieces of hard rock.
That's entirely what acidification does to the coral, it drains the color and can even kill it.
