What physical sign is the result of turbulent blood flow through a vessel?

It is called Bruit when auscultating an abnormal vessel, a humming is heard that is caused by the turbulent blood flow through the vessel; can also be heard over a shunt.  a sound or murmur heard in auscultation, especially an abnormal one.
