Compare: both have a phospholipid bilayer cell surface membrane, 70s ribosomes,and circular dna ( 70s ribosomes and circular dna are found in mitochondria and chloroplasts in eukaryotes)contrast: -dna•prokaryotes: dna is circular and lies free in the cytoplasm . it is naked dna ( not wrapped around histone protein)•eukaryotes : dna is linear not circular , enclosed in nucleus and wrapped around histone protien.-ribosomes: •prokaryotes: 70s ribosomes only•eukaryotes: 80s ribosomes in cytoplasm and studding rough endoplasmic reticulum and 70s ribosomes in mitochondria and chloroplasts-membraneous organelles: •prokaryotes: no single membrane bound organelles•eukaryotes: presence of single membrane organelles like er,golgi , lysosomes-double membraneous organelles: •prokaryotes: none•eukaryotes : present. ex: nucleus, mitochondria , chloroplasts
