The skin receives approximately of all the blood circulating through the body.

The skin is the body's largest organ. 30% of the cardiac output goes to direct the flow of blood to the skin for cooling; the evaporation of perspiration will act to reduce body temperature. So, the skin receives approximately 30% of all the blood circulating through the body.When the body is at rest, this percent is  20%.

The arrangements of lipids in the membrane makes the cell semi permeable .
