What can cause attention deficit hyperactivity disorder

Some people say or think that you can get ADHD through lack of discipline, too much TV, etc.
They are wrong.
ADHD, or attention deficit hyperactive disorder is a genetic problem. Meaning you're born with it. Sometimes, the genes may stay dormant, but eventually become active, which is why not all people are ADHD from birth, but rather develop it over time, or why over time it gets worse
While certain activities CAN awaken those genes, there are a number of ways that can happen. Sugar being a main cause.
