Before you write this essay, read more about earth pollution, food processing, food refining, and so forth. Many books and magazines on these subjects are available. An excellent book is Food for Life by Neal Barnard, M. D. Mother Earth and Let's Live are two good magazines.

When you write your essay in response to information you have gained, spend time to prepare what you are going to say. State your own opinions, too, after stating the facts you have learned.
