What are 4 ways in which our political and economic system has inhibited the response to scientific information about the damage these phenomena have caused? Some examples you can look up are the Love Canal, Rachel Carson’s book Silent Spring, the burning of the Cuyahoga River, and the Exxon Valdez oil spill (but feel free to find your own as well). Remember also the climate change video from Dr. Oreskes available on the course pages. (This is an environmental science question)
