In an experiment we took 10 identical plants and gave each plant the same amount of light and nutrients but different amount of water we frequently measured the amounts of gas produced by each plant which hypothesis are we most likely studying in the experiment above

these muscles maintain the blood pressure in the vessels. the smooth muscles are innervated by nerves of the autonomic nervous system. when the muscles contract, they cause vasoconstriction of the vessels and increase blood pressure. when the muscles relax, they enable vasodilation of the   blood vessels hence reduce blood pressure.
