60 points and brainliest if you can do part D and E with my sources from part B by 4pm today! Thank you! Planning and Writing a Research Paper
In this activity, you’ll prepare a three- to five-page research paper that addresses these questions in detail:
Is a single cure for all cancers likely?
Curing cancer is often compared to curing an infectious disease. Is this a fair comparison? Explain your reasoning.

Part B: Find Credible Sources
My answer -
The American Cancer and Society medical and editorial team "What is Cancer?" cancer. org November 6, 2020
This website contains basic information about cancer. It has sections of information for different things such as how it spreads, what its caused by, and the stages.
familydoctor. org editorial staff "Cancer" https://familydoctor. org/ April 16, 2020
This website contains information of things such as treatments, risks, diagnosis, and how to live with cancer.

Part C: Take Notes
In a separate location, take notes from the sources you have identified. The notes will provide details for your paper.
My answer -
Cancer is a collection of many diseases that all involve growth of abnormal cells. The body is made up of many types of cells. Normally, cells grow, divide, and then die. Sometimes, cells mutate (change). They begin to grow and divide more quickly than normal cells. Rather than dying, these abnormal cells clump together to form tumors.
When a cancer is found, tests are done to see how big the cancer is and whether it has spread from where it started. This is called the cancer's stage. A lower stage (such as a stage 1 or 2) means that the cancer has not spread very much. A highernumber (such as a stage 3 or 4) means it has spread more. Stage 4 is the highest stage. The stage of the cancer is very important in choosing the best treatment for a person. Ask your doctor about your cancer's stage and what it means for you.
Cancer is caused by mutations in the DNA in your cells. The DNA is what makes up your genes, which give instructions to the cells about what they are supposed to do. When the DNA mutates, it causes errors in the instructions. This makes the cell stop functioning normally. It can lead the cell to become cancerous. Many things can cause your genes to mutate. Sometimes you are born with a mutation. This means you inherited it from your parents. More commonly, the mutations happen after you’re born.
Some common cancers are easier to treat if they are found early. If the tumor is found when it is still small and has not yet spread, curing the cancer can be easy. However, the longer the tumor goes unnoticed, the greater the chance that the cancer has spread. This usually makes treatment more difficult.

Part D: Organize Your Information
After you’ve gathered your research and answered all your questions, create an outline for your research paper in the answer space. Following these guidelines for writing a five-paragraph essay may help you structure your outline. Be sure to account for the claim you’re making in your introduction, and include a works cited page at the end with the authors and websites you consulted.

Part E: Write Your Paper
Write your research using your outline and the research you’ve collected. Be sure to proofread and revise your writing to catch any errors in grammar, spelling, logic, or cohesion. Remember that you must add a works cited page at the end of your paper to give credit to your sources.
