My little brother’s science teacher gave him a mini project. The guiding question is “What brand of paper towels is best?” Basically, there are barely any rules whatsoever. You can do anything you want to justify your claim. So far, he thinks that he could measure absorbency or something. However, this isn’t set in stone What experiments can he conduct? What should his research question that is answered by the experiments be? What can he measure? For some context, the person who does the best work out of the grade gets a free A+ on an upcoming test. In conclusion, what can he do to conduct a successful experiment, sound smart, and possibly get that free A+?
