why is it important for gametes to be haploid
neither parent has the full set of genetic information so each musc contribute their half
it is impossible for them to be deployed because reproduction does not result in diploidy
when gametes are made the diploid cells split twice creating four haploid organisms
they fuse to form a diploid organism so there is the correct number of chromosomes
