WILL MARK YOU BRAINLIEST!! 15 POINTS! PLEASE HELPP Your biology teacher had a room that housed turtles. She went away on vacation while she was waiting for incubating turtle eggs to hatch in the room. When she returned, she noticed something strange about the hatched turtles. Instead of the turtles being roughly half male and half female, all of the hatched turtles were males! Then she noticed that the room was 5o C cooler than it normally was. In order to figure out if the temperature had any effect on the turtles, she designed an experiment. She took 12 turtles and placed four in a room that was 5o C cooler than room temperature, four in a room that was room temperature, and 4 in a room that was 5o C warmer than room temperature. Then she documented how many of each were male and female.

What would be a possible hypothesis that the researcher could have stated?
What is the independent variable in the experiment?
What is the dependent variable in the experiment?
Name two factors that should remain constant in this experiment.
What type of data is being collected here? (Quantitative or Qualitative.) Explain your answer.
What would you have changed or improved in this experiment?
