Why do plants go dormant in the fall and
winter months?
A. There isn't enough energy given off for them to capture,
so they try to conserve it.
B. They go dormant to allow the surrounding plants to
absorb more sunlight.
C. This is when they are about to reproduce so they do this
to conserve energy before the cells split.
