The more common black colour is coded for by a dominant allele (K), On Princess Royal Island, approximately 10% of the bears are white in colour. a) Determine the frequencies of both the recessive and dominant alleles in the population. b) Determine the percent of carriers. c) Assume the bear population followed Hardy-Weinberg equilibrium. What would happen to the dominant and recessive allele frequency if the entire population doubled in size?
