• Include a picture, video, or diagram of your model of lunar phases or eclipses. • Provide a description of how you made your model and how it demonstrates eclipses or lunar phases.
• Include a one-paragraph reflection on the success of your model in explaining your event.
• Include the name of the person you taught about your event and that person's description of what they learned from your model.
I started off by asking if we had a globe. After that I found a golf ball to represent the moon. I started by trying to do a lunar but after many attempts I gave up. I decided to do an eclipse and set my camera up so that you could see the shadow of the moon on the earth.

The model which was somewhat a success was just fun to do and easy to understand. The golf ball just played as the moon was in front of the sun that was the light from my lamp made a small shadow on the earth. This is an eclipse and I set my camera up on a timer and took the picture to show.

My teacher was the one that really explained to me the differences and the way it works in real life. I asked her if she learned anything from my model. She said no, but my friend said she did learn what the eclipse would look like from space.

The kidney filters potentially toxic substances in the blood, and thus “clears” the blood of those substances. this clearance function is dependent upon and proportional to the diffusion gradient of the substance across filtering capillaries, i. e. if the concentration of the substance is doubled, twice as much will be cleared from each ml of blood that is filtered. suppose that the body produces a constant amount of a substance x per unit of time. the kidneys eliminate substance x at a rate directly proportional to the concentration of the substance and the volume of blood cleared each minute (c): elimination = c × [x], where [x] is the steady-state concentration of substance x. imagine an individual with an initial concentration of x equal to [x]0 who develops kidney disease. her baseline clearance c0 drops to one half of the original (½c0). what is the new steady state concentration of x? (for simplicity, assume that substance x is 100% filtered by the kidney).
