Wait, wait... If humanity had to start with one man and one woman, wouldn't that mean that technically every time a human reproduces they might be doing the dirty illegal (depending on where they live)? I guess genetic mutations over 200,000 to 300,000 years ago and how often that happened looking within those years caused everyone to be different. Over time the mutations formed completely different genetics. I guess this explains the non-mutation in the offspring. Yes, I do recognize that sometimes it is possible for someone to have, for lack of better language, differences (Example, Patau Syndrome).

Would I be correct assuming this?

What about in other species that only have one male and one female left? How does the species get back up on it's feet? Well, I guess it doesn't... unless asexual reproduction was an option. Right?

So I guess in retrospect humans would no longer be the dominant force on Earth in the event of Nuclear Armageddon. I don't know how we ended up at this point.

Correct me in anything in this, I was just using my brain for once instead of doing my homework.

My brain hurts. I have never thought as deeply as I am thinking right now with exception to FNAF lore.
