What's the difference between primary succession and secondary succession

Primary Succession is when an ecological community experiences a community changing natural disaster (volcano, glacier, etc) primary succession starts from bare rock. Secondary succession starts from pre-existing soil, and occurs from a hurricane, deforestation, etc.

What is the question? if you were looking to design a method of separating something, you can separate this compound by putting both in water and allowing the water to dissolve the sugar. then pour it into another beaker and evaporate it then boom! salt and sugar : )
