Evidence used to support spontaneous generation was the observation that foods over time become covered in maggots or fungal and bacterial growth. the inference behind spontaneous generation is that there is no “parent” organism. write this inference as a hypothesis using an if–then sentence that suggests a way of testing it.

We can write the hypothesis using if-then is that if there is no parent organism, then all on their own time the maggots and other growths can appear on the foods that are spoiled.

they can be autotrophic as well as heterotrophic, unicellular as well as multicellular

they include kingdoms like protista, plantae, animalia, fungi et cetera.
