Compare and contrast the stucture and function of various types of microscope

There are several types of microscopes: compound microscopes 0 the most commonly used microscope, uses light illumination and the image that is seen is two dimensional, stereoscope- uses light illumination and the image that appears is 3 dimensional, confocal microscope - uses laser light ,scanning electron microscope - uses electron illumination.

Cell division is important to single celled organisms because it allows the cells to reproduce. through cell division, cells make exact copies of themselves. when single celled organisms go through cell division, they make exact copies of themselves which is how they reproduce.
