Explain how temperature and amount of precipitation can affect the type of plants and animals found in the grassland biome?

Temperature and amount of precipitation is important in the type of animals found in certain climatic conditions.

Amount of precipitation (rainfall) promotes the growth of green grass . This makes herbivores such as deer, zebra, antelope etc to be present in such an environment. This is due to the availability of food.

Plants found in this region are usually tall and mostly green due to the amount of rainfall.They have no special adaptation for water conservation

In climates where there is little or no water. There is little or absence of herbivores and there is presence of some animals insects adapted

for such environment. Plants in this region have adaptabilities such as spines to prevent loss of water.
