Composting is a very good way of recycling organic substances, you can do
 
it by placing organic materials onto one another such as: grass clippings,

leaves and vegetable scraps. composting can be a lot of work, you must put

time and effort into the project, but in the end it will reward you with a way to

recycle organic materials and regenerate poor soil. another thing that may

deter you from commencing this job, is that it can only be done in certain

weather. cold or snowy weather is not ideal for composting, neither is dry

weather. if it does get too cold the compost can be put into bins, and if it gets

to dry you can water the compost pile till moist. some materials are altered

during the picking process so they do not always decompose the fastest, self

grown or locally grown fruits and/or veggies decompose very rapidly.

if you plan on starting to compost at your own home, you will need to find

something to put it into such as: a barrel or a bin. the bin should be placed in

a space that has lot's of sun so the items can decompose quicker. you will

then need to find food or other materials that are decompose-able, stack

them into the bin and then wait. decomposing can take any where from a

couple of weeks to a month, within in that time you should have rich, dark

and moist soil at the bottom. 

decomposing is a very useful technique to get rid of any unwanted material,

grow wonderful plants or flowers and best of all: give back to the

environment.
