How did the miwok people make houses? i meant to put it under history. sorry!

In the winter they lived in houses that were covered with dirt halfway underground because it kept them warmer. In the summer their houses were above the ground. Some materials that they used were brush grass and tule. Im almost 100% sure this is right i saw it in my old history book please rate me.
