Need on my lesson about ground waters

Groundwater helps grow our food. 64% of groundwater is used for irrigation to grow crops.

Groundwater is an important component in many industrial processes.

Groundwater is a source of recharge for lakes, rivers, and wetlands.

Groundwater is the water found underground in the cracks and spaces in soil, sand and rock. It is stored in and moves slowly through geologic formations of soil, sand and rocks called aquifers. 

1) the mayans built pyramids just like the egyptians. the mayans also used hieroglyphics like them.2) power was passed down by family. for example, if the father dies, the son would be the next king.3)they both built pyramids for their structures.4)the main crop for the mayans was maize.5)they also grew manioc, beans,  squash,  amaranth, and chile peppers.
