What is the relationship between latitude and biomes located across earth?

Biome refers to the geographical area that is comprised of various flora and faunas. Latitude and biomes are directly related to each other and the organisms that exist in these regions are adapted to these environmental conditions.

The near-equatorial and tropical region receives the maximum amount of sunlight, so the temperature here is relatively high, and the type of biome that exists here is mostly the desert biome (approximately 10° to 35° N and S latitude) and tropical dry and rain forest covering the region from about 10°-23.5° in both N and S latitude.

In the temperate region, the deciduous forest and the grassland biome occurs (35°-45° N and S latitude).

The taiga biome exists in the region between the polar region and the temperate region (50° to 66° N and S latitude).

And lastly, at the polar region, the tundra biome occurs (55° to 80° N latitude).
