What might happen in a tropical forest biome if the area received very little rain for an extended period of time

For starters the rain forest and its ecosystem would change dramatically. Like say there was a plant that need "said" much water if it did not receive this then t could die. then this may effect a frog that only eats that plant then hat species would die. so basically the ecosystem would declian
