One symbiotic relationship involving the Golden Lion Tamarin would be the Bromeliaceae and the Golden Lion Tamarin. The Bromeliaceae is the main sources of both the water and food for the Golden Lion Tamarin.
This relationship is one of mutualism because although the Golden Lion Tamarin does consume the Bromeliaceae the Tamarin does not digest the seeds so that when the Golden Lion Tamarin leaves droppings it not only fertilizes the Bromeliaceaes it surrounds it also spreads the Bromeliaceae seeds throughout the jungle.

The relationship between the Liana and the Golden Lion Tamarrin is described as commensalism because the Liana is the great climbing tree that is prevalent in the south eastern rain forests of South America.
