fungicides - used to control fungal problems like mold, mildew and rust

insecticides - used to control insects

rodenticides - used to kill rodents like mice, rats, and gophers

foggers - used to kill insects that are in the open and touch the pesticides

herbicides - kill or inhibit the growth of unwanted plants ( weeds )

genetic variation can be caused by mutation (which can create entirely new alleles in a population), random mating, random fertilization, and recombination between homologous chromosomes during meiosis (which reshuffles alleles within an organism's offspring).
