The Azore Islands lie 1500km from Lisbon, Portugal and were formed from volcanic eruptions millions of years ago. You compared populations of two plant populations on two islands (Sao Miguel and Santa Maria): both are small plants with quick reproductive cycles. The plant on Sao Miguel releases pollen in the early morning while the plant on Santa Maria releases pollen in the afternoon. Are these two plant populations different species?
