If you can find it, you ought to read Abigail Adams' letter to her husband on this subject of women's rights. She couldn't spell but she could certainly think.

So Canada, the United States and I think Great Britain finally got around to giving women full citizenship at about the same time.

You can't classify yourself as democratic unless every person, male and female has equal rights before the law and equal rights in the society they live in.
