Blood is called a tissue because it has different types of cells which have different functions. Blood has about 80% of water and 20% of solid part. This solid part is become solid due to these cells which are present in suspended in the liquid of blood is known as plasma. In this blood, nutrients are also present which reached to all the cells through circulation of blood.
