Vegetables are edible part of the plant. It is largely consumed by different animals. These are highly rich portions of plants with starch. The difference between the fruit and vegetable is that fruit is ovary portion and other edible parts of plant are categorized as vegetables(roots, edible photosynthetic parts).

Eating vegetables provides many health benefits to our body. It reduces the chances of chronic diseases. Chronic diseases are those disesases which are long lasting such as cancer, heart diseases, diabetes etc.

Cholestrol adds into the lump of LDL(low density lipoproteins) inside the blood vessels which cause the blockade of the vessel causing heart diseases. Vitamins Since the plants absorb nutrients and ions from the soil so they are really rich in Vitamins. Vitamin A keeps eyes and skin healthy and helps to protect against infections.
