Please help me out!! In March 2015, the American space program sent astronaut Scott Kelly to live on a space station for a whole year, where he will not feel gravity as the space station orbits Earth. Scott Kelly’s twin brother, Mark, stayed at home. Scientists then plan to study the twins’ body chemistry, genetics, sight, and other data. This way, scientists can find out how living with and without gravity affects two identical people.

What will most likely be a limitation for other scientists trying to recreate this study?

A) There are ethical controversies over testing human subjects.

B) There are probably very few astronauts with twin siblings.

C) There are too many complexities involved in studying body chemistry, genetics, and sight.

D) There is probably not enough technology to keep someone in space for an entire year.

In eukaryotes, genetic information is passed to the next generation by processes that include mitosis or meiosis. which of the explanations identifies the correct process and supports the claim that heritable information is passed from one generation to another? a. mitosis, followed by cytokinesis, produces daughter cells that are genetically different from the parent cell, thus insuring variation within the population. b. during mitosis, dna replication occurs twice within the cell cycle to insure a full set of chromosomes within each of the daughter cells produced. c. in asexual reproduction, a single individual is the sole parent and passes copies of its genes to its offspring without the fusion of gametes. d. single-celled organisms can fuse their cells, reproducing asexually through mitosis to form new cells that are not identical to the parent cell.

Assume that you are interested in separating short (200-400 bp) dna molecules from a pool of longer molecules in the 10,000-20,000 nucleotide range. you have two recipes for making your polyacrylamide gels: one recipe uses 1.5 percent agarose and would be considered a “hard gel,” while the other uses 0.5 percent agarose and would be considered a loose gel. which gel should you use to separate the short (200-400 bp) dna molecules from a pool of longer molecules in the 10,000-20,000 nucleotide range?
