PLEASE HELP MEEE Question. Do you think China's one child policy was justified? What alternatives, if any, do you think would have been preferable? Did the policy reduce the impacts of human activity on the environment and if so how?

Based on overpopulation, the one-child policy did reduce the amount of offspring, however, it did not account for the preference of males by Chinese parents. The policy was partially justifiable for overpopulation, as the alternative would be to make having children incredibly expensive, to deter anyone from wanting children. The policy did not show large signs of reduction on the impacts of human activity on the environment, however, it did provide less competition in the job market.
