The invasive species unbalance an ecosystem because it takes over an ecosystem and does not let the other native species thrive while it takes over. There are many invasive species around the world even in your own town or state there is a type of fish suppose that is an invasive species to Michigan called a sea lamprey which kills fish native  to the great lakes and is taking over there are also zebra muscles if you need another example
