Explanation:  Durante la respiración celular, una molécula de glucosa se degrada poco a poco en dióxido de carbono y agua. Al mismo tiempo, se produce directamente un poco de ATP en las reacciones que transforman a la glucosa. No obstante, más tarde se produce mucho más ATP en un proceso llamado fosforilación oxidativa.
