Persuasive Pamphlet In the module, you learned about the three types of commonly used techniques for DNA typing: RLFP, PCR and STR. For this activity, imagine that you work for a forensic science materials company. Your company wants you to promote one of the three types of DNA typing (re-read those sections in the module to help you choose which one you will be promoting). The audience that you will be appealing to will be top forensic scientists from around the country. You are tasked with creating a pamphlet that will be creative, visually-appealing, informative, persuasive, and scientifically-accurate. You should explain your chosen DNA typing method and try to persuade scientists in the field that it’s the superior option. Your pamphlet should describe the process involved with your chosen type, and the benefits of it, in terms of the accuracy of the results of the test and the usefulness of it in forensic science. Your information can come from the module but should be supplemented with additional online research. Provide details about how the DNA and cells are used—keep your audience in mind! Single piece of paper laying horizontally with three folds running top to bottom to create a pamphlet with four distinct sectionsTo create your pamphlet, use a word processing application (Word, PowerPoint, or any word processing program approved by your instructor). The pamphlet should be divided into sections and include a title page. You should organize your information in a logical, easy-to-read way. You may use a mix of bullet points and short paragraphs. Visuals or charts would be great additions!
