An investigation was conducted to test the effects of varying salt concentrations
pou potato cells. A student sliced a piece of raw potato into five 10-gram samples.
Four of the samples were then placed in separate beakers, A-D, whose contents
are indicated in the data table shown. The fifth sample was placed in an empty
beakers. The condition of each sample was then compared to the sample taken
from the empty beaker. The data
table shows these observations.
