The blood is then pumped from the right ventricle from the pulmonary artery. Oxygenated blood is carried away from the lungs through the pulmonary veins which then return the blood to the left chamber of the heart completing the pulmonary cycle. From the left ventricle, the blood flow through the aorta through the aortic valve which distribute the blood to all part of the body and pulmonary circulation begins again.
