The Coriolis effect was presumed to be the reason for the rotation of low pressure areas which is anticlockwise in the Northern Hemisphere and Clockwise in the Southern Hemisphere. The problem with this is that it would carry the winds to the east in either hemisphere because of the velocity of the surface being faster near the equator going east bound at the equator at just over 1,000 miles per hour. The velocity drop by 35 degrees north or south is to about 860 mph. The only problem with this concept is that it doesn’t sustain a recurving circular flow. South bound winds are slower and would carry to the west.

There is only one structure that explains the full vortex structure of storms. That structure is an Electromagnetic particle vortex. Sorry folks the Coriolis effect is one of those things that needs sent to the dustbin of history (Trash for Americans).

The weather plasma flow linkages are being well studied now. There is no reason to continue to teach Coriolis Effect regards rotation of storms. It does have effect in things like the massive ocean currents and the generalized flows on earth of winds but it doesn’t affect rotation of storms. Even there we are learning that motion north and south from the equator is primarily electrical in nature.
