Growth Hormone is a Protein produced by the Pituitary Gland (in the brain). Without this hormone a child would not grow in height and become a dwarf. As for any other protein, the gene that codes for it (the recipe how to make the Growth Hormone) is kept in the DNA library. The gene is called GH1.
