You are going to dissect a frog and examine its inner anatomy. a. What are five pieces of lab equipment that you would use and what you would use each tool to do?

The five piece of lab equipment that we will use are

1. Preserved frog specimen

They are safe to use and are not subject to hazardous materials regulations or disposal restrictions.

2. Dissection tray

They are essential when analyzing internal structures and component related functions. Compatible with lining waxes used to provide unadulterated dissecting pin surfaces or including odor absorbent pads, pans allow animals to be securely held in place.

3. Scalpel

They are used to make cuts into the body. This is a very sharp instrument and comes in various sizes for different types of cuts and surgeries. Most blades are made of either carbon or stainless steel.

4. Dissecting scissors

They are used for fine dessection ,making incisions, cutting apart tissues and removing different organs.

5. Forceps

They are used to handle tissues and other materials and also to manipulate needles and other instruments whilst operating. They are commonly used for grasping fine tissue and blood vessels or soft tissue dissection.
