es el proceso mediante el cual el ser humano recolecta e infiltra (siembra) el agua de lluvia, escorrentía superficial, hipodérmica y subterránea en el subsuelo para poder recuperarla (cosecharla) un cierto tiempo después. El concepto es parecido al de Recarga Gestionada de Acuíferos, entendiendo como tal la recarga intencionada de agua en un acuífero, con criterios científico-técnicos, con el objetivo de poder recuperarla tiempo después o de generar beneficios medioambientales. Es empleado fundamentalmente en América Latina por comunidades locales que  tras muchos siglos de observación de la naturaleza han obtenido saberes que han sido trasmitidos hasta nuestros días de generación en generación.

metaphase: chromosomes align at the center, the metaphase plate. spindle fibers attach to centromeres of the sister chromatids. they meet at kinetochores.

anaphase: sister chromatids are pulled towards each opposing centromere, set on different poles.

telophase: chromosomes are now clustered up only on either sides of the cell. nuclear membranes reform, and a new cell wall forms along the cell plate. this will lead to cytokinesis, the process that divides the cell membrane and forms the cell wall.
