This method of reproductive strategy is actually or typically different to most of the ones I am conversant with. For example, when most animals are going through incubation period, especially the birds, it is the only female that carries out this process, and it will leave the place of incubation when it needs to feed. In other group of animals like reptiles, the female will lay eggs in a dug pit or land, lay its eggs and cover it up with sand which will eventually incubate the eggs.

But in this aspect, the incubation involved the male and the female, which is totally different from what I knew before.

small, big, or no change could occur in the phenotype. it could cause something as simple as a cats ears to curl backwards or something as frighting as death. it could also occur in the protien-coding area and have an effect on that but no effect on the amino acids. what has to occur is a changing in the hox gene or the control gene.
