A planet will move with high speed an faster if it comes closer to the sun but if on an orbit if goes away from the sun than it will move slow.

This type of motion occurs in oval shape orbit in which at some points the distance is lower so it moves with more speed. This phenomenon is supported by Kepler's law of motion.
