Most antibiotics work in one of two ways. They are either cell wall inhibitors of protein synthesis inhibitors. Classify the following characteristics to describe each. Some answers may be used more than once.

a) Cell Wall Inhibitors or b) Protein Synthesis Inhibitors

1. Has no impact on eukaryotic cells
2. Include penicillins and other beta-lactam drugs

5. Cause the shape of the ribosomal subunits to change, resulting in the cell's inability to make proteins
